MILLING
"Milling Tableware was founded by Gábor Somoskői ceramist /kezemura/ and Lukacs Szederkenyi architect /architecture uncomfortable workshop/. They were looking for a tool that would enable them to produce small-scale series while preserving the sense of craftsmanship in their objects. The word "milling" refers to an old Hungarian fishing technique in which two people fish from a boat. One person paddles near the riverbank, slowly lowering the boat and disturbing the fish, while the other uses a milling net submerged in the water to catch them."
