"Milling Tableware was founded by Gábor Somoskői ceramist /kezemura/ and Lukacs Szederkenyi architect /architecture uncomfortable workshop/. They were looking for a tool that would enable them to produce small-scale series while preserving the sense of craftsmanship in their objects. The word "milling" refers to an old Hungarian fishing technique in which two people fish from a boat. One person paddles near the riverbank, slowly lowering the boat and disturbing the fish, while the other uses a milling net submerged in the water to catch them."
Set of two thrown stoneware bowls. Glazed inside and outside with matte glaze.
Perfect size and shape for soups, pastas, poke bowls or subjis.
Each piece may be slightly different due to the handmade process.
